The place this work is held is part of the work itself.
Phoenix Healing is held on Stacey and Gerard’s land, in a place that has grown alongside the work itself. Over time, we have built and added to the spaces that hold this work, shaping them with care, experience, family, and the needs of the people who come here. As the work has grown, so has the space.
We are now creating a separate, dedicated gathering space on the land: a cob building made with earth, wood, natural materials, local trees, and local craft. It is not being built to impress. It is being built to belong — to the land, to the people, to the work, to the seasons, and to the old understanding that the places we gather in matter.
Why Place Matters
At Phoenix Healing, the land is not a backdrop. It is a living environment shaped by family, fire, water, food, conversation, silence, care, and the rhythm of the seasons. People are held not only by the people who guide them, but by the place itself.
There is an old understanding that where we gather matters — that certain places help us slow down, tell the truth, remember, and come back to ourselves. This is the kind of place we are tending here. Not to impress, but to belong. When you come, the land is part of what holds you.

I’ve had some amazing retreats and ceremonies with Phoenix Healing over the past few years. As for retreat centres in Ireland Phoenix are up there as one of the best. The facilitators are genuine, the space is beautiful, and the entire process of a retreat there has been refined to an art and there’s the sense they’re always evolving and learning.
